The LEEF System® is a groundbreaking PFAS extraction system offering economic and sustainability advantages. It directly removes PFAS without expensive pre-treatment, using low energy and no chemicals. Modular and customizable, it handles various flow rates and achieves 0.1 - 0.3% waste stream.
Our ecological team in Australia integrates nature-based solutions with our conventional engineering to deliver lower energy, green infrastructure and value-added benefits for clients and the community. The team offers customized solutions for restoring natural landscapes across Australia and the South Pacific, specializing in biodiverse restoration and integrated wastewater treatment and reuse.
Trickling Filters Australia (TFA), part of the Water & Carbon group, specializes in wastewater treatment and environmental restoration. We offer 95% BOD and ammonia reduction, random packing media, efficient lamella clarifiers, quick-deploy sedimentation tanks, energy-efficient rotating distributors, and starch-based biodegradable products for ecosystem restoration.

Jim Hunter
Chief Executive Officer
Jim leads with over 30 years in water/wastewater, ecology, and agriculture. He excels in commercializing new technologies and has introduced innovative wastewater treatment and PFAS extraction methods in Australia. Outside of work, Jim enjoys surfing SEQ beaches and mountain biking at Mt Coot-Tha.
Nick Ganzon
President, Americas
Nick leads US operations, managing projects and client relationships in the solid waste, wastewater, and water sectors. With over 32 years of experience, he is passionate about water, and enjoys sailing and golfing in his spare time.
Jeff Travis
VP of Engineering
Jeff oversees the design, fabrication, and operation of the LEEF System®. With 24 years of experience, he excels in creating innovative wastewater treatment solutions. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys snowboarding, golfing, and relaxing at wineries.
